As part of ability to manage projects we have a mechanical design team to assist in planning and conceptualizing the desired solutions, using Solidworks to produce 3D models. The primary benefit of being able to produce 3D renderings of design concepts is the ease at which we can cheaply revise the end product. Product functionality, appearance, and cost can all be estimated and subject to changes before anything goes into production.  We work with you throughout the process of going from an idea to a clear concept in order to keep the project within scope and budget. Once designs are approved, we produce drawings to go into production.

At RMS, we recognize the need for designers to consider a multitude of factors when developing mechanical solutions. It isn’t about producing models, but understanding how engineering principles, materials and their costs, manufacturing practices, and aesthetics all need to meet the needs and budget of the customer. Our design team has the skill to factor all of this in. An engineer verifies the structural integrity of the design, modern metal forming and cutting techniques are used to keep costs down while maintaining a high-quality finished product, and products are built to have an appearance that is in harmony with the surroundings after installation.
